Dermal fillers replace lost collagen in the skin replacing the plumpness, elasticity and moistness of young skin.

Doctorcall Cosmetic Treatment Services

All injectable treatments are only carried out exclusively by specialist doctors in our clinics.

The underlying cause of deep lines is depletion of hyaluronic acid which is responsible for keeping your skin plumb and moist. Restylane and Perlane are two hi-tech products designed to replace depleted hyaluronic acid and collagen in the skin. Both Restylan and Perlane contain hyaluronic acid and once injected into your skin with an ultra-fine needle, each of them promptly bonds with it, smoothing its appearance. It also enables your skin to retain more moisture and helps to restore its elasticity.

The process is normally more-or-less painless.  If you have a low pain thresh-hold or you are nervous, we can apply local anaesthetic cream called Emla in advance.

You will see the changes straight away.  Occasionally there may be a little temporary swelling or redness which will soon fade.

The great majority of people are able to return to work straight away.  Dermal fillers are often referred to as "lunch hour treatments".

One treatment generally lasts about between six months after which the effects will fade and you can have a top-up if required. Over time, the effects last longer and you should need to top up less frequently.

Sculptra

Using Sculptra, we can restore facial contours and get rid of lines and wrinkles without surgery. Sculptra is a synthetic, injectable material that contains skin-smoothing microparticles to help lift and smooth sagging skin, severe wrinkles, creases, dark circles, and scars.

Sculptra is suitable for increasing the volume of depressed areas, particularly to correct skin depressions, such as in skin creases, wrinkles, folds, scars and for skin ageing. Sculptra is also suitable for large volume corrections of the signs of facial fat loss (lipoatrophy).

Sculptra is injected into the areas requiring treatment. The number of necessary injections depends on several factors, including your age, how deep your wrinkles are, and the type of treatment you desire. After your first treatment, your doctor will advise whether or not you need subsequent treatments to obtain the desired results.

In contrast to many other treatments that require frequent refresher sessions, the aesthetic improvements obtained with Sculptra have been shown to last for up to 2 years.

After treatment a Sculptra treatment, You will notice a progressive improvement over several weeks.
