Private Visiting Doctor Service
Doctorcall’s private visiting doctor service is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no need to be registered or to have used us before.
- Our rapid response home visit GP service is designed to get an experienced home-visiting doctor to you in about an hour throughout London.
- Our doctors all work with us on a permanent basis. They are all appropriately qualified and experienced to work in both the NHS and in private medical practice / the independent healthcare sector.
- We are a "dispensing practice" and provide a mobile pharmacy service. In many cases the visiting GP can dispense immediate medication. Alternatively, we have access to 24-hour pharmacies who can dispense pharmacy supplies 24/7.
- If you need referral to a specialist or hospital, our GPs can arrange a referral to a top specialist, leading NHS or independent hospital or medical centre of excellence using our network of consultants and specialists in either the private sector or the NHS, We work closely with the top Harley Street consultants and specialists and the leading leading hospitals. A good and efficient referral to the right specialist or medical unit can make a huge difference to outcome.

- Our service provides emergency doctors, convenient medical advice and second opinions. We are experienced in holistic treatment taking into account the special circumstances and needs of our patients.
- We have a particular focus on diagnostics with ample physician time backed up by rapid pathology and on-site radiology. We have an excellent referral network to get you to the best possible specialist.
- A rapid home visit can save hours or even days in starting treatment - and the sooner it begins, the sooner you will recover.
- With a GP home visit, you stay in comfort, safety and familiar surroundings and do not need to travel.
- If you require secondary care, we can provide a referral into the private sector or if we refer you to the NHS it can save you a long wait for triage in Accident & Emergency.

We understand what this means and we do our best to meet our patient's needs. We believe that Government guidelines provide an invaluable quality control framework but do not provide for the extra thought, care and skill that leads to the best in medical care.
We have been established since 1989 and since that date we have had great continuity in our medical staff and we continue to provide out-of-hours cover for the main private GP practices and have worked with the same patients and companies. The majority of our patients are those who have used us before or have been recommended by a friend.
