Duty Doctor
London
We are seeking experienced, self-motivated General Practitioners to provide high-quality, personalised care to private patients in their homes, hotels and workplaces across London. Working with Doctorcall means embracing variety. No two visits are the same, and you’ll have the opportunity to assess and treat patients in the context of their everyday lives. You may also have the opportunity to become a patient’s preferred doctor through our membership service, building an ongoing relationship and providing greater continuity of care over time.
It’s a rare opportunity to connect with a diverse range of patients on a more personal level, where people are often more relaxed and genuinely appreciative of the care they receive. We offer four shifts, roughly equivalent to sessions, covering morning, afternoon, evening and overnight, seven days a week. You can choose shifts that work around your schedule. Some of our doctors work exclusively with Doctorcall, while others combine shifts with other medical or non-medical roles.
Doctors are paid per visit, and shifts will generally be filled with visits. While the role involves travelling around London, it offers significant variety and the chance to meet and care for patients from a wide range of backgrounds. This role is ideal for GPs who value autonomy, enjoy building relationships with patients and want to focus on clinical care without the usual administrative burden.

Ad Hoc Private Home Visiting GPs
UK wide
We are looking for experienced General Practitioners visit private patients in their homes, hotels, and workplaces. Working with Doctorcall offers a rare chance to connect patients in their own context – patients are often more open, more relaxed, and genuinely grateful for the care they receive. We are now actively expanding beyond London across the UK. This is a flexible role that works around your existing commitments. For example, we would book the appointments before or after your NHS clinics, or other commitments. These visits will be booked in consultation with you. This is ideal for GPs who value autonomy, enjoy building relationships with a varied patient base, and want to focus on clinical care without the burden of admin. We are only looking to take on a small number of doctors in each geography — so early applicants will be given priority.
